Perhaps the city has been busy this last year with a sudden threat of lawsuits that required the districts? Or busy with the myriad document requests by certain people? or busy with the running of the city? I expect our officials to prioritize. I also know how small our staff is, what our budget is and what good they accomplish. There are those that have nothing better to do than spend their time complaining rather than joining in and making things better, thank goodness our staff and city council are not cut of that same cloth.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12898734883654972625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-877753385801022805.post-40009824852007444932016-07-29T03:41:56.523-07:002016-07-29T03:41:56.523-07:00I would think if you are against taxes isn't i...I would think if you are against taxes isn't it better to let the county maintain these trails? I'm guessing that it would be more of a lead balloon here as quite a few people mention "lower taxes" as part of why they chose Wildomar as home.Joseph Morabitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16685853728078949253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-877753385801022805.post-42398316710500478632016-07-28T09:07:28.488-07:002016-07-28T09:07:28.488-07:00One has to laugh at the Napoleonic Bully upon the ...One has to laugh at the Napoleonic Bully upon the dais, with him and staff sounding like a broken record this city is in for a nasty future when it comes to trails. This is a legacy that came from the county and continues to be perpetrated by the city that that screamed, local control is the way. Staff a year ago was asked about the Justin Hunt Trail and why it was still owned by County Parks and Rec., yesterday we got the same answer as ago. It's a matter of filling out the paperwork, no big deal. Then how come it hasn't been done. Same thing with the Murrieta Creek Trail which is also controlled by County Parks and Rec., a year ago claim was it would cost 5K to start the process which the city has no problem, yesterday the price was the same, the city still has the money, we still haven't started the process. The multi-million dollar Grand Ave bike lane and multi-use trail keeps getting pushed out further and further and now we find out it has to be shoe-horned in at certain locations. Can you say "the wildomar way" because that's what is happening, everything half ass.Kenny Mayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08065933893548235242noreply@blogger.com
