• Coffee with the Mayor Recap

A light crowd turned out at The Bean to get their complimentary coffee (or tea) and chat with the mayor. Those that came got a very attentive mayor ready to answer all questions.
In addition to the Mayor and some city staff, there were eight residents that attended.
The topics included the key issues in town.

Police presence, road quality, speeding, homelessness, code enforcement, Walmart, Bundy Canyon, the damaged guardrail where Palomar and Mission Trail meet up...

But the best part, which will be part of the Wednesday city council meeting's consent calendar, was the mention of the new 11-acre parcel the city just purchased (actually it's two parcels on paper) for $381,250.
From the May 9th city council agenda packet.
It's next to David A Brown middle school, and [when money can be procured] it will be another park in Wildomar.

I still think that the next Coffee with the Mayor should be on a Saturday, in the evening, at one of the parks, at one of the pagodas. Talk about a great setting, especially during the hot Summer months as the cooler evening air hits around sunset.

Sometimes you do the hard work and set the table and somebody else eats the meal.

And Wildomar Rap thanks Mrs. Wildomar Rap for making the above come true on a regular basis.
