• New City Logo?

In today's Special April First Edition of Wildomar Rap, we'll explore various concepts for a new city logo.

I was at a recent event where the fine city of Menifee reveled their new city logo, not to be confused with a city seal. I thought their old logo was pretty nice and inviting, but their city leaders obviously wanted an upgrade.
A side by side comparison.
To me, it looks very similar to the Waste Management logo... which is fine for the side of a garbage truck, but not sure how well it works on city stationery.
I was thinking that if Menifee was going to update their logo, and have it loosely based on the feel of an existing corporate logo, Wildomar should do the same. Below are the concepts I came up with, starting with our own version of the new Menifee logo.
This works especially well for all the Miami Dolphin fans out there.
After I got done with that, I wondered what a Wildomar logo based on famous brands might look like, and the following images are what I came up with.
I give myself a D- on this one. This was going to be patterned after the Trader Joe's logo, but I couldn't locate a free version of the font anywhere... so it looks like this instead. Still, many people will love that slogan just the same.
This would be a favorite among the YouTube crowd.
This is for the tea lovers out there, as it was based on the Lipton logo.
For the overpriced coffee lovers out there.
Semi-Rural is another possible tag line.
Ain't that the truth!
Apple fanboys won't like this one, but the city is 10 years old now, so it's a great adaptation.
Do-it-yourself aficionados would naturally gravitate towards this logo.
This logo could appeal to both motorcycle riders and Raider fans.
Canned vegetable enthusiasts would appreciate this one.
For those that like to put together their own Malm beds.
For fans of The Five and Fox & Friends.
This one comes with no beef patties, no special sauce, no lettuce, no cheese, no pickles, no onions, and without a sesame seed bun.
This logo would be my choice on Superbowl Sundays.
This one could be the keeper among the entire lot.

Happy April Fool's Day... Caveat Emptor!

Just remember, even standard fake news is more fake on a day like today.
