The proceeds of this event go to the charity ALS One. The goal of the charity, and of Erin and Ken Hartley (promoters of this 5k, and local business owners), is to see the eventual eradication of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Erin Hartley's uncle, John Kelly, her inspiration for the 5K, as seen at the 2016 event. He passed away last year. |
