• Memorial Day 2021

Beautiful skies and perfect temps greeted those in attendance for Wildomar's annual Memorial Day remembrance event.
The names of the five from Wildomar that lost their lives, serving our nation, while wearing our nation's uniform. Nathan Bouchard, Fernando Hannon, Justin Hunt, Daniel Ray Parker and Eric Seaman.
More than a dozen motorcyclists from both the VFW and American Legion attended.

The service included an opening prayer by Gracepoint Church's Reverend Wink Davis. A welcome message from Mayor Pro-tem ben Benoit.

Presentation of colors followed by the pledge of allegiance led by State Senator Melissa Melendez, and a beautifully sung rendition of our National Anthem by Jeanna Oliver.

The keynote address was delivered by the incoming VFW 1508 Post Commander, Charles W. Golden III.

Good words to keep in mind all year long.
"We as a nation must always remember, we must remember the price that was paid for our liberties. We must remember the debt we owe those who have paid it and the families they left behind."

—Charles W. Golden III

A primary object should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing than communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the country?”

– George Washington

Wildomar Rap salutes the guardians of the liberties of our country. Past, present and future; thank you.
