• Local Business Victim of Smash and Grab

In the predawn hours of Wednesday, December 7th WaBa Grill was victim of a smash and grab burglary.

Unlike similar burglaries, where the cash registers were taken, the thieves popped the door off the safe and made away with the contents.

If there can be a silver lining in such a thing, the criminals didn't damage anything else... they just made a big mess. 

According to the owner, "They knew right where they wanted to go," and I learned that this is something happening to some of the WaBa Grills in Orange County too. 

The sheriff's department took a copy of the security footage, but the perps kept their faces down and no clear identifications were able to be ascertained. 

WaBa Grill Wildomar was featured in a Better Know a Wildomar Business in April of 2015.
